Can't Beat 'em....Join 'em

Since most group members seem to be leaning toward a flat textured look........I thought "What the heck.....let's give it a try." Not as successfull as Amber's but it was worth a shot.

I like the colors, well maybe not the dress so much, perhaps a darker one.

I like the area with the nose, cheek, and upper lip - it looks very flat while still suggesting all the necessary dimension information. Maybe make the legs a bit thinner at the top than you have them here so that the dress looks like it is covering her more... securely.

I agree with the legs comment. And careful with the arm, it doesn't look quite attached to her body - unless you would want to go for a cutout look, which could work, but the rest of the character should match.

Ya I see your point both about the legs and arms.....I'll fix that up for sure.

i like the color scheme here...

ms. ecks overall looks a bit awkward... but i appreciate that you're going REALLY out of your comfort zone and trying this.

i also agree with mel's comment about the floating limbs...

her proportions needs some tweaking

maybe a pointy nose?

some texture in her hair and not just one mass? looks a bit awkward...

longer feet?

overall tho, i like where this is going =D

Pretty much agree with everything that's said here. It looks pretty nice, and I like the way her face is going. Personally I might separate her boobs more, make them look even saggier and suggest some more dimension.

I think the texturing works on this. It reminds me a bit of my fundies life drawing teacher, who wore tight leopard print pants to class once, and we made jokes about her running down wild animals for the rest of the year. Something about the proportions is throwing me off, and I'm not sure what. might be where the arms are placed on the body... Looks good though
